How to Interact with Polygon (Matic) Blockchain (MetaMask)

To interact with the Polygon (Matic) blockchain, you need a compatible cryptocurrency wallet such as MetaMask or TrustWallet. Initially, MetaMask does not add Polygon as a network. Users must manually add the network using MetaMask, whereas TrustWallet allows for direct switching.

Installing and Setting up MetaMask

MetaMask can be downloaded and installed on Chrome, iOS, or Android through the MetaMask website. Please ensure that you are using the official website to ensure that you download the genuine MetaMask.

After downloading and installing, you will see the MetaMask welcome page. Click on "Get Started" to continue.

If you want to create a new wallet, click on the "Create Wallet" button. If you already have a wallet, you can also use the "Import Wallet" option to import and restore your wallet using your mnemonic phrase. 

Set a password to log into your wallet from the browser. Please note that this is not your seed phrase. The password is a security measure to prevent anyone from accessing your wallet on your device. If you forget your password, you can always use your seed phrase to access your cryptocurrency. 

You will see your seed phrase. Click on the lock to view the words and write them down in the correct order. Store the seed phrase in a secure location, preferably offline, and do not share it with anyone. This string of words is the final backup for your wallet and its contents. Click [Next] to continue. 

Now you need to repeat your seed phrase to confirm that you have recorded it correctly, selecting the words at the bottom of the screen in the correct order. Once you have done this, click [Confirm]. 

Your MetaMask wallet is now set up and ready to use. Click [All Done] to view your wallet. 

How to Connect Metamask to Polygon

Click the network button and then click "Add Network".

Click the Add button and find Polygon Mainnet from the network list.

After confirming the displayed settings parameters, click on the "Agree" button.

After adding Polygon Mainnet, you can click on the "Networks" button in MetaMask and select "Polygon Mainnet" to switch to it.

How to add Polygon tokens to MetaMask

To have Polygon tokens other than MATIC appear on your wallet interface, you need to add them manually. Please note that your wallet can still receive tokens that have not been imported.

You can obtain the token contract and details of the token you want to add on trusted websites or directly on PolygonScan.

Click on the "Import Tokens" button.

Copy the token's contract address, and MetaMask should auto-populate the rest of the details. Then, click the "Add Token" button.

The address for USDC (Polygon) is as follows and can be used to import it directly.

After completing the steps, you will be able to see the balance of the newly added token.

How to pay for Morphlin subscription fee

After you have completed your purchase and created an order, you can find the relevant payment details in the order content and email.

On this order, you can see the payment address, supported blockchains, the amount and type of tokens to be paid, and the order expiration time.

Please note:

• Please make payment before the order expires.
• Expired or underpaid orders will be voided.
• Please do not make payments for expired orders.
• Morphlin will not process refunds for delayed payments, overpayments, or underpayments.

Switch to the Polygon (Matic) network and select the token (USDC) that needs to be paid.

Click on "Send" button.

Enter the order information into the send details and click "Next".

After confirming the information is correct, click "Confirm" and wait for the transaction to complete. Morphlin will automatically update the order status.

• Sending a transaction requires some Matic as gas fee, which is recommended to be purchased from an exchange.

• Generally, you do not need to modify the transaction fee, as MetaMask supports automatic calculation of transaction fees.
